Look, I get it. There are more things to consider when making your wedding budget than there are stars in the sky. And you might be asking yourself, is it really worth it to hire a videographer for my wedding? Well, it all depends on what you find most important about your wedding day. Here are some things to consider when debating whether or not to hire a wedding videographer:
Saving your memories
Some lucky people out there are born with incredible memories, and you might be one of them. But I can tell you with certainty that of all the days you'd want to remember, your wedding day might be one of the toughest to recall. The day simply goes by in a flash. And nothing captures memories quite like video.
What's the biggest difference between a video and a photo? Sound. A photo cannot capture the way your husband read you his heartfelt vows, or the stories from your best friend's speech. A photo cannot play the song from your first dance. But video can.
Yep, it's Covid
Wouldn't we like to forget about this already? But alas, we cannot. The reality of our 2021 weddings is that some of our most important guests may not be able to attend in person. Giving your grandparents and relatives a way to watch your day as if they had been there is more important now than ever.
If any of these things are important to you, you should consider hiring a videographer for your wedding. If you have any questions, hit me up! I'm happy to answer any questions about wedding videography!
